Could the Revolution feature a Hard-Drive?

15 GB hard drive? Hmmm... Could this mean online content for the Revolution? 15 GB is rather small though. Thoughts?

Small for what? I have 8 gigs in my Xbox and never came close to making a dent in it before it was modded, so I'm not sure what you think they could need more than 15 gigs for.

15 gig small? Are you insane? You're not going to be installing games on it. I'm barely using the space on the xbox hard drive and I've got a dozen soundtracks, saves, and plenty of downloaded content.

The fucking thing better have a hard drive. The Xbox has shown that this is viable for consoles. There's really no reason to not have it.

Its interesting that these companies are all moving to common architecture rather than building their own. The Xbox2 will probably have very similar specs.

But how are they gonna keep that shit cool? The G5 system is designed in seperate compartments that all regulate air flow tightly, and the 2.5ghz one that is coming out is liquid cooled. Putting all that shit in a tiny box seems odd.

They're calling it the Revolution to disguise the fact that it's going to be huge, like you say a fat chick has a good personality.

I don't have an Xbox, so I was thinking it's hard drive was a little larger than 8 Gigs. My PC has 40 GB and it seems rather small. I only have about 6 GB left and I hardly have anything on it. 4 games (Halo, SWG, Vice City and KOTOR), hardly space consuming games, but I guess my download files are taking up more space than I thought. I know that when I bought the PC, half of that space was taken up by the installed programs, but 20 GB does'nt go far in that spectrum.

no way is 15gigs small for legit purposes. Nintendo doesn't want to help you load your revolution up with emulators and roms...

This news, while sad, is believable.

It'll be online. Nintendo put Wi-Fi into the DS, so they obviously understand how important online gaming is finally. They just aren't doing it now because they know that the GameCube is a wash and they're smart enough not to waste any more money on a dead console.
