PS2 and PS one price drop official

Think of it this way. The consoles will almost always be available, but when they stop making certain games, they become a pain in the ass to find. I say ( just my opinion ) go for the rarer games first, and then hit the consoles!

This is good news indeed. Now I can play my PS games without worrying about my PS dying. Ico and Rez sound tempting too. Plus, KOF 2001 and Metal Slug 4!

You know the best part of this?

Joe Consumer, who doesn't know all of the smalltalk about what is going on in gaming, is going to see the PS2 drop to $200 first. Then, they will see the supposedly "superior" Xbox drop to that price as well, as if to play catch up.

Why is this new, more powerful system copycatting the price of a system that has been out for far longer, and is supposedly inferior?

Sure sucks for my brother, not 2 weeks ago did he buy a PS2 for $250 used :D I think I'll get an Xbox come $200 and Panzer Dragoon Orta time.

i was thinking the same thing. all week SONYS been saying "oh no....we dont have to drop the price" and i KNEW the whole time theyd drop first. they've done it EVERY time. who pays those pr people to write outright lies?

It's rumored they are coming to PS2, a Japanese game vendor has both titles listed in upcoming inventory. Though it's Metal Slug 3 that's mentioned not 4. I'd take both if possible *ahem SNK* . *-neo
