Hell, never mind, only days with tickets still available are Wed. July 21 and Thurs. July 22 against Baltimore (double header on 22). So unless you could go to a game on a wednesday or thursday, I doubt we'll be able to get tickets. (And I have class Thurs night, and class til 11:00 thursday afternoon, though Fenway and BC aren't too far, I could get there in 2 hours easy, I bet.)
it's not that hard to get tickets on a weeknight. Just go to Fenway park and wait till 7, then buy from a scalper for face value or less.Quote:

Which brings us to another topic. "New York Pizza" in Boston will make you laugh and cry all at the same time. There's a place called this on Tremont St. and it's a terrible, dirty place with lots of mediocre pizza for cheap. My favorite pizza similar to that style (but not the same, mind you) is Little Stevie's, by the Hynes T stop. Very quiet during the day, but it's flooded with drunk people at night, and the food is very good. I took my parents there for lunch when they were visiting once, I don't think they appreciated the atmosphere so much, but you get a ton of good pizza for cheap.Quote:

If you want good italian food, pizza included, the north end should do the trick.
On July 4th the boston pops perform at the halfshell and its synqued up with the fireworks. There will be a shitload of people walking around, most of them drunk. its kinda fun but i personally hate it when that many out of towners are in the city at once.
Get a fake ID. That will make your time a lot more memorable. I can't recommend much stuff to you unless you can pass for 21 cause all i really do is go to bars and see bands at clubs. There are a couple wortwhile arcades. One is in downtown crossing, and the other is the good time emporium in somerville near sullivan square.
Just get drunk and chase tail. Boston is the biggest college city in the world, so take advantage of it.
i went there last night, it was fun. It's funny how much stuff they fit in that place because it doesn't really look all that big from the outside. When you're tired of games you can just chill at the bar and watch the rows of projectors on the wall showing all the different baseball games.Quote:
