Atlus announces Choro Q for PS2
Fans of Conspiracy Games' release Road Trip got a pleasant surprise today when Atlus announced their upcoming release of the true sequel to the quirky racing/RPG. Renamed to its original Japanese title, Choro Q, the new game promises a load of new features, races, car parts, mini-games, and quests for the racing/RPG-ing fan to sink their teeth into.
What sets Choro Q apart from standard racers is that it's a true RPG. You go from town to town, undertake quests, and upgrade your car into any number of configurations, getting stronger and faster as you go. You can upgrade parts like steering for sharper turning, brake pads for better stopping power, tires for staying on the road better, and many others. There's even a host of optional extras like the current RPG favorite, the fishing pole. It's just not a modern-day RPG if you can't blow off a few hours fishing.
Choro Q is slated for a fall release, with an MSRP of $20.
