Damnit, Gremlin Graphics snuck one by me again! Is that a C64 screen?
Which system was that game released for ? its action RPG isnt it?
'Tis a Commodore screen.
Anything and everything has seen release on the C64. :)
I knew it! I can spot the C64 "look" a mile away!
I remember the C64........It had Rtype on it.My brother was pretty good at it , he could thrash the whole game but he couldnt figure out how to thrash the last boss. I was about 5 or 7 so I couldnt play very good.
I also remember that there was this cool samurai game ........the hero was some rabbit samurai that would make guest appearances in the ninja turtles series.
Also I hear that there were alot of eurotrash shmups.......never played them though.
Toaplan also released slap fight for the C64. It has over a 100 stages , doesnt it?
Ive also heard that the C64 got ports of Ikari warrirors ,and games like salamander and zanac .Were these versions better than the NES versions?
The thing about the C64 is that it was great for early '80's arcade ports like Donkey Kong and Up N Down but horrible for late '80's arcade ports. If a game saw release on NES, you can virtually guarantee it was way better than the C64 version. And 16-bit games? Playing Ninja Spirit, Side Arms, or Street Fighter 2 on the C64 is painful. It's like someone trying to port Halo to the Genesis.
If the game originated on the C64 like Archon or Cybernoid 2, the C64 versions are better than the NES ones.

Cool news... I wonder if the characters will be in their original cartoon / action figure style, or the newer action figure. Probably the latter.
I hope this turns out nice.
