Well, it ended kind of anticlimatically. They shot it. It climbed higher, knocked out the dart. Then climbed back down into the neck of the tree. After about 45 minutes they shot it again. Then they sat and waited for 30 minutes wondering how they were going to get the bear out. Somebody brought a forklift, the guys were lifted it up and the pulled it. Everybody got pissed on, which was funny.
I actually knew the guy working for the DNR though, that was kind of nice. Plus everybody else had to watch it from down the block and I got to watch it from my porch.
Damn did I want to see a bear fall though.
Anticlimactically? You're only saying that because you're not covered in bear urine.

You guys suck.
It would've been cool if you put a Fadora on its head and a picnic basket by its paw and then taken a picture.
i got the camera out and everything, and i was being all super-spy ish. But the view from my front windows is blocked by trees, and if i go outside there are parents sitting there that could see me. I could have gotten a few out of my room, but the zooom wasn't good enough anyway and i was feeling extra creepy.Quote:

Make sure you wave to them before you start taking pictures of their daughters. It's the proper thing to do.Quote:

Still disappointing, but I'm glad to know a conscious effort was made.Quote:
