But they get the job done, and as a newcomer, you're going to have one hell of an uphill battle to get people interested, and I don't think you have quite the manpower or resources necessary to hope to overtake them.Quote:

Dude, Im not making your site for you. What I did for you though is offer up what the problems are, not the solutions. Thats for you to solve, its your site. You have a problem because what you are doing is not unique or special enough to drag gamers away from the engrained sites that allready flood the internet. Hell, I dont know how to solve this problem, thats what you have to figure out. If I could come up with a way to make a huge succesfull video game site I sure would do it, but that is the lofty goal you are aiming for now. Being an asshole is not a good way to start out.

Users can submit FAQs, reviews, codes, hints, post on the forums and doing so earns you money. You can spend money on items and cool things to add to your account (thus making you a more valued member) and people love that stuff. The forums will feature several areas which feature RPG ish elements for spending your items and money. It's all very nice and I think people will enjoy it.
The character database is just an extension of my site and as I said, it's merely an idea right now.
My Top 250 chart was an idea before too and it's just another feature that I think people could read once and a while to enjoy.
When you say 'we', you should say 'I'. It is your opinion, not everyone elses.
Some people would like to read up on characters, why not? They will have biographys, pictures and descriptions. Why do people go to FFonline to read about Sabins character page? Because it's interesting to fans of that game.
