Portugese, and no, it was way off. I don't mind that sort of thing, but just for the sake of accuracy, it was way off.
Pretty much. It was as if they pulled my cousin from Utah in the studios and told her to do her best latino voice (she's a about as "white" as "white" gets).Quote:

Two things:
I'm liking Supergirl's new look (which they adapted from the current Batman/Superman series). The old white t-shirt+miniskirt attire didn't seem quite like Supergirl to me.
Is Devil Ray supposed to be a renamed Black Manta or what? I'm guessing it was due to PC reasons (since the comics' Black Manta was some sort of Black Supremacist IIRC), but Devil Ray's way too cool to be Manta.
I'm not sure, but Black Manta was who I thought of when I saw him.Quote:

And I liked Stripe's big ass suit that he had to climb into from last season (like in the Season finale) not the iron-man like one he had last night. But the story and characters besides the League just seemed lame and generic in this one. And the animation was just really stiff in both of these episodes, nothing like what we had last season.
I did like seeing the Martian Manhunter deciding to adopt his John Jones persona at the end of the second episode though. And Wonder Woman becoming the diplomat for Themiscyra like she is in the current DC books.
What was the name of the Manhunter ep?
To Another Shore. The other episode is Chaos at Earth's Core.Quote:
