Right, I don't want to wait until January, and it's different from the DC version. It's cheap enough that I don't feel bad about picking it up; I'll probably sell it for the Xbox version when that hits.
Of course they are gonna be different from the DC version - the PS2 rev is arcade perfect (except for that 1 extra hit on the Urien combo) and I don't have any reason to think that the XB version will be any less arcade perfect.Quote:

Say what you will about Xbox, but they are bringing us what we want...we have a nice handful of great 2-D fighters, 3-D fighters, etc...this isn't meant to replace traveling to tourney's and playing real people, but it is a nice supplement to this...it will keep the fighter community together that much longer...and bring new people into it...
The guide is excellent BTW and be sure to check out the ST section, you might spot one of our own amidst the characters sections...

I'm getting Both.
I probably won't pick up the PS2 rev on day one, but I will have it by the end of September. I tried some of the more advanced stuff in that guide & I really can't get the timing down on the DC. I'm also starting to make progress with Parrying, & I'd hate for all that practice to mean nothing due to the differences between the DC & PS2/Xbox revs.
The price of the PS2 rev will be worth the 4 months of arcade perfect practice I will get in preparation for live.
The PS2 rev will probably be traded in for credit for the Xbox rev on Jan. 11th.

That's the way I see it... plus whatever I get back by selling it on eBay in January. I don't see the point in keeping both.Quote:

I'm getting an xbox->ps2 adapter so I can use my homemade stick on it.
