Hitomi in DOAU!!

DoA is a great party fighter. Anyone can look good playing it, and not take it seriously.

So for some people, this won't bode well. For others, it's great. I like DoA when I'm playing against all my friends, not just the 'fighting game enthusaist' ones. Which makes me think DoAU is going to be a lot of fun too...as long as you don't play against idiots online who take it too seriously...

Which...uh...pretty much happens in any online game. Damn.

I enjoyed DOA3 even though I'm definitely a VF4 person. Didn't Itagaki say he was tweaking/balancing the gameplay and mechanics for DOAU? Hitomi in DOAU is awesome and I think eventually all the DOA3 people will be in it either as unlockables or through downloadable content. I would really like to see Christie in it because her martial art is really fun to play. It's ridiculous to troll Itagaki/Team Ninja threads especially when they're ADDING MORE FEATURES to their games which is a GOOD THING. :bang:

There is already punishment in the form of 150% damage on any throw done on a missed counter. DOA3 games frequently degenerate into counter-throw contests.

Even if this isn't DOA4, it's in need of Chicken like nothing else. That alone would make the game more competetive and fun.

You know what would be even better? If they only gave one character a giant laser gun that my kid brother could chain into simple combos that drain 50%. Then make it so only 2 other characters can even compete. That would be awesome.

DoA is the only surviving 3D fighter worse than Tekken, and this board has its panties in a tussle over any news. I question how much of this shit we'd have to read if DoA were on PS2, where there are next to no fanboys on this board.

yes. i read an interview a month or two back where he said he's changing the game so that the more "hardcore" audience will find things to like. yknow, to make it more competitive online.
