After the price drop, there is no reason for not picking up whatever systems are lacking from your collection.
I will finally pick up a PS2 just for the sake of having one because of the games I own for it. I have been using my roomate's for the past 2 years.
This post is for all the people that said they didn't want to fork over $300 for either system. Now if you just don't like the games on a particular system then that's another reason all together.

Coming from a fellow Gamecube owner, I would say that if I had the choice right now (of all the $200 consoles) it would probably be my last pick. It seems that nothing is coming out gaming wise in the next year besides sports and delays. One of the points of getting it was getting the cheapest system, but oh well.

Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil, Reident Evil 0, Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Metroid, Turok, Capcom Vs SNK 2, Lost Kingdoms, Phantasy Star Online, Dragon's Lair 3D, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, Die Hard Vendetta, Super Monkey Ball 2, Bloodrayne, Rayman 3, and 007: Night Fire are nothing but sports and delays (and dont say something will deffinetly be delayed cause you dont know if it wil)
now mind you thats just the games that have been announced and E3 is right around the corner if your going to say all the games coming for a system are what ever at least get it right obviously its not all sports and delays
You forgot perfect dark and mario kart .But god knows how many of these games will actually be released this year.
