It is still interesting to see while the PS2 is still "pwning the xbox" in hardware sales, it is no longer so far a held it cannot have a few games in the top 10. By the numbers you would think that there are only 50% more ps2s than xboxes.
A big difference in the demographic types is probably what is contributing here. "Hardcore gamers"* should be proud that they a making a big difference in these things.
* ie gamers that want the very best.
