Goddamn, I want to see these frickin' monsters already. They look like hunchbacks with red, thorned cloaks from the clips you see, but i really cant tell.

i've figured it out. going by what Rhydant just said, the monsters are mini-versions of the "wolf" creature from Brotherhood of the Wolf.
Well I guess the script going around a few months ago was a fake because with the ending it had it wouldn't be getting the reviews that it is now. Everyone was saying that it was released just so everyone would get thrown off as far as the "twist" goes. Guess they were right.
