Then I transferred, and all is well.
How does someone learn to speak english so poorly? How can entire group of people go with out being told "no, the word does not have clicking noises, chicken sounds, or sound like a leg being cut off in a boat engine, lets try again"Quote:

In regards to Indians--yeah a lot of the FOB ones are pretty rude and they can't drive for shit. The Americanized one are cool and the ones that grew up with British accents are pretty easy to understand. My good Indian friend told me that we can't see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle because it would be too surreal.
I haven't met many rude ones, but they sure are the cheapest. Indian people will constantly be dumbfounded that they can't use multiple coupons on one item or that they can't return used merchandise as an even exchange for more expensive new stuff. My old roomate worked at Linens & Things, and old Indian ladies were the bane of his existence. I had one guy buying a GBA, and he balked the price of the SP so he bought a regular GBA against my advice, then he balked at the price of the games, asked if we had anything cheap, I managed to find a $10 game, then he picked it up and shook it and said "there's only one game in here?" Then, of course, like clockwork, he came back half an hour later trying to exchange the open game.Quote:

Sqoon got luck with this thread but for some reason it's
hard for people here to take a thread seriously as it always
deviates into stereotypes and poor attempts at humor.
Indian food rocks.
I worked with an Indian girl who's accent and voice combination just drove me crazy. I couldn't stand to hear her talk. But other than that I have nothing against the people who provided the world with saag paneer and naan.
LOL, man, I'm a cheap guy, but nowhere this bad...Quote:
