Go have sex with our nations leader please. It wouldnt suprise me one bit if you were a Democrat defending Bush on internet message board just to be able to argue with all the sane people of the world.
That's the best you can do? So not ok.
Man, Brisco totally owned us all by starting this thread, writing "Discuss" and then bailing.
Only when it's convenient. Freedom and democracy are the last things on the U.S. government's mind, or else we wouldn't have half a dozen territories with no voting rights.Quote:

A national sales tax would be a tax cut for the rich, at least if it's done as a replacement for our current income tax. Sales taxes are regressive, meaning the poor pay a higher percentage of their income. So the rich would actually be paying a far less percentage of their income than they are currently (more than likely, anyway). I think regressive taxes are pretty stupid, as they are very often unproductive or counter-productive (the people that are supported by the tax dollars are paying the highest percentage of their income).Quote:

The least they could do is make it a flat tax.
I hate republicans, I just found out that taxpayers are paying over 30 million dollars for Reagans funeral
 Was that flushing sound your credibility? No one, and I mean no one thinks that the Democrats represent the middle. If they did, there would be more registered Democrats than Republicans, which there aren't. Also, the middle would not have chosen Republicans in 4 of the last 6 elections if they were liberal. Nice try though.Quote:
