Man, this show got better overnight now that they got Roland back. Trading Steve for Roland was the best call ever. It also goes to show how Sirius' shitty people really didn't want to do anything for the show.
In like one week, they got Bobby Lee, Jason Shwartzman, Chris Morris, Mick Foley, Tom Green, the Ice Road Trucker guy, Jeff Dunham (meh, but he got the show more than I thought he would), and a bunch of other guests.
I've noticed. What the fuck was Steve doing all that time?

Steve was never a good booker (and who knows what he really did behind the scenes for the actual radio show), that was all Rolands' gig. That guy has unbelievable contacts. Also: Thank god Joctober is over, I hate that bit.
Lies! Jocktober is the funniest thing they do. It's what got me hooked on the show.
Speaking of hooked, I just realized today that I listened to O&A by default this entire past week. Usually I listen to Howard and cut over to O&A when it's a replay I've already heard or another stupid fucking John Lennon/Billy Joel/Bruce Springstein conversation. But since the King of All Vacations has been gone so frequently these past few months, I've been gravitating towards O&A a lot more. It sort of hurts me to admit it since I've been a Howard fan since forever ago, but this is currently the better of the two shows.
That's what happened to me two years ago.
In Philly they used to be on the same channel, Howard in morning drive, O&A in afternoon drive. Even back then when Howard was a lot better, it was obvious which show I enjoyed more.Quote:
