Immediate execution without the hardest evidence one can have would be downright sloppy and just a little stupid. I'd never support that just because the cops DO fuck up.
OJ type DNA evidence, confession or several eyewitnesses is what I'm saying. Not a cop's hunch. That would be easy and fairly safe for people like baseball dude because he would still be eligible for appeal. The only reason it wouldn't fly is the morons on the left, not the morons on the police force. When I say "know", I'm saying "know". Not a conviction "beyond a reasonable doubt". There's a big gap between knowledge and belief.
