Did you actually just claim that a last boss was easy and then say that the boss which came afterwards and would therefore be the last boss was really hard?Quote:

Ah yes, thinking of Necron. It's been far too long since I played that game, how I wish it had a better battle system.
It was still a retarded statement anyway.
Hmm, I haven't played it in awhile either but I remember liking the battle system.
I hated the invisible timer related to attacks/spells/summons and the freakish Limit Break activation which all but removed their usefulness. That whole battle system moved way too slow for me to love, there was always a lot of, "Watching everyone stand around waiting for their attack to actually occur." Almost every time I died during a boss battle was because I would cast a healing spell but it wouldn't actually activate until three or four attacks later. Aggravating.
True, I remember battles being very slow now.
The game had great personality, though. Still didn't make up for the travesty that was VIII, however.
Definately. I love FFIX, I just don't like the combat (which is why I haven't replayed it three or four times by now).Quote:

Oh yeah, how can I forget the last boss in Chrono Trigger? For some reason that motherfucker gave me sooooooo much trouble.
I'd say it had some of the best directing I've ever seen in a game. But yeah the gameplay was slow and sluggish, seriously FFX-2 had the smoothest flow of any final fantasy I've played when it came to gameplay. And I mean smoother than FFXI.Quote:
