This is a bad thing? Last time I checked Mario Tennis was one of, if not the best tennis game. It is still also a great multiplayer game too. I do agree that Nintendo is kind of doing the 'recycling method' on their games (Mario Golf, Kart, Tennis, Party)..but I expect that. As long as it is fun that is all that matters.Quote:

Maybe I'll pick it up when it becomes a Player's Choice six months after it comes out.
No, that is not all that matters. It's 2004 dammit, I want to play games that are up to date graphics and play-wise, and I want solid attempts at innovation and freshness. There's plenty of those being released nowadays, why bother with a rehash of a 2000 game? I played that one in 2000, I dont want to play it in 2004.Quote:

Looks like fun to me. Bring it on...
Pics for magicbox.
Wow. I love the Mario Bros classic course. That kicks ass.
I want to be skeptical, but I think it's actually looking pretty good.
Just found out my g/f is a huge SSBM freak, that along with the Metroid bundle, and now Mario Tennis, might be incentive enough to get a GC. Oh yeah, and RE4...damn, how'd I forget about that?
Wow! I am SO happy that we are getting this amazingly original, super fun game from Nintendo this year! It looks SOOOO awesome! I was pretty upset because there weren't many good games coming out this holiday season, just Tiger Woods and Burnout3 but THANK GOD FOR NINTENDO! YOU SAVED CHRISTMAS!
I think I finally have a game to buy in 2004!!!
Its great to see Nintendo to continue to whore out their past by putting in references to the times when they were good in their games. SSBM, 1080 Avalanche (with the NES pad board), the whole classic GBA series, and now this. Just beautiful.
Also, it is good to see they are putting these references into the same game I spent $50 on and played four years ago. I mean, who needs online play, right?
Nintendo really is on a roll guys.
DiffusionX I believe this news WHOLE HEARTILY!Quote:

I LOVED this game on the N64 and even though it is exactly the same, I will put down another $50 dollars because this looks VERY ORIGINAL AND FUN! Plus, the $50 dollars is a bargain price considering that the N64 game cost like $80 bucks! Nintendo is doing us a favor!
GO NINTENDO!
