Yes, I also want to get another GBA because it now has the oh-so-hip and culturally revelant tribal tattoo design. That makes me forget about a lack of innovation, extreme reliance on franchises, and the fact that their games aren't good anymore.Quote:

I'm hardly a Nintendo apologist, but I can't really see what there is to update here. If you paid $50 for the old game and don't want to upgrade, great, don't. If you haven't played the old game or don't have it anymore, this one will most likely be better anyway. Just like any other sports game.

I loved Mario Tennis on the 64 more than should be legal but, I'm VERY aprehensive as to how this title will turn out. From all I've read, it seems Camelot decided to portray "wacky" tennis, instead of the perfect (yes, PERFECT) blend of arcade and realism that was in the original. I could be wrong, considering how much Camelot rocks, but I refuse to get too excited.
So it doesn't have online play. whats the big deal? last I checked you couldn't play tennis with more than 4 people anyway. if you can't get 3 people to play this game with you in the same room as you then you suck, and your mom is a minga.
Mario Tennis on N64 was nearly perfect. My friends and I still play it often. My only complaint was the lack of stuff to do in single player. Fix that, spruce up the graphics, and add a couple new multiplayer modes and you have an excellent update.
Because it's so easy to get together with four friends, you know, when they aren't busy with work, school, family, social obligations, significant others, etc etc etc.Quote:

Indeed. Most of my friends haven't touched a Nintendo game in literally a decade. I don't plan on putting out a want ad saying "Mario Tennis players wanted" either. Online would be nice.Quote:
