Yeah, I think I heard something of this.

On the bumping issue. I don't think Outrun 2 should be played like that. Burnout 3, on the other hand, probably becomes more intense. Will BO3 be online?

From playing the demo for BO3 it seems they went from "Crazy fast twitch racing with cool crashes!" of the first two games to, "Huge crashing and destructive racing, with lots of motion blur!" I'll still get it, and still enjoy it quite a bit, but it seems different so far.

Oh and to be on subject, Out Run 2 is sounding phenominal. I finally got to play it in an arcade, and its wildly fun. I can see it being easy, but this Xbox rev. sounds like its adding oodles and oddles of cool stuff. Can't wait.

If it was Daytona that might be good. Daytona 2 was pretty forgetable.

He's correct. Althought that might only be because I played a lot of Daytona, and not so much of Daytona 2.

I don't remember Daytona being that fast either.

And it has the Outrun 2 music in it, I want the cheese rock from Daytona 2

And that isn't shit, now that I'm watching through it, they've bastardized it. I want LAPS, not a run through.

Does OutRun 2 have custom soundtracks? If it does, just burn some Daytona stuff to CD and rip it to the system, bam, instead gaming heaven.

True enough, I prefer Blue Blue Skies to Melody Time Golden Shower or whatever that one Outrun song is. Some of the music in the Outrun series gets too repetitive(Though I liked the Outrunners soundtrack, maybe because the arcade had the bass so damn high it crotch-punched your eardrums.)
Oh and f the haters that Daytona 2 "track" looks seriously cool.
Now for Shenmue 3..oh wait nevermind.

While it looks cool, and it seems to be a faithful reproduction, I just want to be able to race laps around it.

Hell, it's an essential skill in Wangan Midnight- especially with the Tension Meter system where your life depletes based on how far ahead an opponent is. Right at the start of a 2P race, I'd have the wheel turned toward the opponent in hopes of forcing them into the wall and then taking off. No penalty = no foul. In a game, honor is nothing but an unnecessary, unrewarded risk.
