PS2 greatest hits packaging isn't bad, much more low-key than that day-glo PS1 crap.
$19.99? That'll be a few Christmas presents out of the way this year. *-neo

Sly Cooper looks better with the Greatest Hits packaging.
And the game is still the same, only cheaper. Nothing but good news there. I've already played and finished Rez on about all the trance modes there are, but I'd still like to own a copy.
Sony has never stated what constitutes for GH. I had come to the conclusion that GH said the game sold decent, but less then expected... then VF4: Evo hit...Quote:

btw any word if there's any reason for those of us with the DC version to get the PS2 one?
It's better. I think that qualifies.
Ok, ok, here's real reasons: no slowdown at all, better control (imo, at least), and Trance Vibrator compatibility.
The PS2 has smoother framerate for most of the game, but the boss battle hiccups every once in awhile. Not sure if the actual ingame gfx is better or worse.... or the sound, I can't tell hehe.Quote:

Perhaps it's a mental problem I have (in fact, I'm pretty sure it is), but playing Greatest Hits games feels the same to me as playing emulation, rented games, or someone else's games--I don't feel like I completely own it, and my motivation to play it is much less. Plus, for collection's sake, the packaging looks bad.
