PS2. The Gamecube one bugs the hell out of me, the DC one's nasty, yet can be skipped and the Xbox startup is average.

I like the GC and DC noises most. I wish they were all shorter, though.

Oddly enough, a similar topic was created on this very board several months ago. The only difference is that it asked board members to vote for the "best startup sequence."

Go figure.

I like the DC one.

I also like the DC one, always have. I can't see how it's grating or irritating. But NeoZeedeater is right about SMS. The only reason I kept my SMS1 after I got the second model SMS was the awesome startup sound... well, the card slot, too, but the startup sound was awesome.

Dreamcast and Game Cube. I also liked the varitations on Genesis.

I love the Dreamcast one, followed by the Gamecube one.
