I can understand why some people become racist

It really pisses me off when people think they have to act or speak a certain way because of their race. For example, I noticed a few black guys who acted and spoke no different than anyone else in elementary school completely changed that by high school. They put on ebonics accents and started acting like the stereotypical American black.

Now, I have no problem with people speaking ebonics if that's how they grew up but there's no way that someone born in Vancouver with parents from fucking Ethiopia would be speaking that way unless they did it on purpose. Giving yourself an accent is stupid.

Black people should have other types of musical role models. Imean, white people have that emo stuff and theres always the satan-death-speed-bite-yuo-in-the-ankles music I hear about.

Seriously though, I dont know what is worse, people in the ghetto adapting "Thugg Life" or people in the suburbs doing it. I love my people, and myself. That is why I am sad.

Edit: Im sure that Briscos rant isnt realy implying that racism is inherently done to black people cause they are all stupid. Because that would be wrong. I mean, Im sure that he is saying that racism is due to the inherent stupidity of all human kind right? ;)

This is true, sorry to say, but I really hate your town. I'm heading there Friday and I can remember what little fun I had the last time I went to that same mall. One of my cousins friends was with me, and explained the basis of how things go down there.

Does that make any sense at all? I know that there are people in this world that can be that rude and not be black, but what ticked me off was how my cuz' buddy said how we can't look them in the face. Like if it's some stupid staring contest or whatnot. Honestly, I blame the town, not you or anything on a bigger perspective, heck, I spend a week there and I start hating things. Montreal's pretty diverse as well, but a heck of alot friendlier and coasy for starters.

Yeah, the thing that pisses me off about thugs is that they just have a bad attitude to the point of absurdity.

One time I lost my keys at Six Flags, and I was there afterwards waiting to see if the staff could find them, so I was waiting in a room with this really dumbass redneck frat guy, but, you know, we both realize the absurdity of the situation we're in, crack a few jokes, where ya from, shoot the shit, the air is light. In walks Mr. Thug4lyfe, same situation, he emits a few grunts, scowls at us, uses the phone (angrily explaining his situation to someone whom he is dependent on to pick his ass up, of course), then quickly leaves the room. I woulda never thought I'd see a dumb redneck in a good light, but there you have it.

Dont they have to look over their shoulder and duck bullets all the time? Dont they end up being killed most of the time and never see 30? Doesnt anyone want respect beyond the point of a gun?

Since I live in a pretty wealthy neighbourhood, that's slowly teetering towards upper class, I find it amazing and fascinating at the same time that all the Afro Americans on my block talk and act normal like I do, but it's all the Gino's and Italian guys that dress all baggy and bust Lloyd Banks at like 1am. At least here, it looks alot less like its a black thing and more of a general problem. It still sucks, though.
