My Spelling

Everyone knows I can’t spell. My slaughter of the English language has been going on for about 7 years now. I’ve always had a problem with written English, I won’t lie about it. While I could always sleep through science classes and get A’s and B’s, I could study for a spelling test all week and still fail it.

A lot of you think it is cute and clever to call me on it in the middle of threads. It isn’t and just hurts the thread as a whole.

This is why I am making this thread. If you see something I am doing wrong, spelling or grammar wise, please post it here along with what you think what a good correction for it would be.

If you think you can explain to me why it wrong you can do that as well. But please remember if I can’t spell perfectly I probably also don’t remember what an alpha omega conjunction extreme 2 is.

I am not making this thread to make those who have complained about my spelling and grammar happy but so peoples threads will no longer be derailed because somebody wants to be a bitch about one of my flaws.

I will put a link to this thread in my sig to make it easier on all the English Nazis of TNL.

Then can this be considered the official spelling thread instead. I forget who it was that stopped a hot debate on some new title this fall by informing me that my "your" and "you're"s werent properly placed. At least its not like a few months back when everyone would correct everyone. It seems to have died down a bit.

As long as people use commas I could care less weather or not they can spell.

i feel a need to pop into this thread and say hi.

=/ I'd rather this stay in Sound Off so anyone who sees something wrong can correct it AND try to be civil about it. By moving it to the vet's board you only envite others to be douchebags.

You also take away Nomi's chance to help. We all know how she so enjoyes getting the one up on people older than her.

No, I'd rather this be just for me. People have been making a big deal out of my spelling and grammar for some time now. They should be given a fair shot at stopping something that annoys them so deeply.

I really wasn't talking about her. She has moved from complaining about my spelling to hateing me for my taste in hair styles.
