Saw
I saw (ha!) the trailer for this at a showing of Hero.
My god it looks awesome.

The website is pretty neat. Lets you in on the basic premise of the movie. Its being released on October 29th, right in time for Holloween.
Anyone else interested in this?

This movie looks fucking SWEET. It was originally supposed to come out this Friday but it got pushed back to the end of October to cash in on the Halloween season. Bah. I want it now. I really hope it lives up to my expectations...

It's going to suck.
Any movie that looks THIS awesome in the previews is doomed to be a dull piece of shit that blows its load with the trailers.
I mean, I hope it's going to be good, but I'm not expecting it.

I'm praying sethsez is wrong. But history has proven otherwise...way too many movies don't live up to the hype.
Please be wrong, please be wrong...

Reviews I've read have said it's awesome and incredibly intense. It's on my must see list (trailer was before RE2 and that's just a taste of the movie, basically nothing was shown). I have high hopes.

The trailers for The Cell looked awesome, too. Then the movie came out...
Still, if the general reaction to this is positive I'll probably see it.

personally, the moment I saw Jennifer Lopez I knew it would stink.

I agree that SAW looks great, intence, and promises quite a bit of graphic mayhem, too many movies nowdays are staying away from. Sure, it can become the victim of internet hype, when people would expect something over exagurated, so I believe if you would go with lowered expectations, you would have a better chance enjoying the movie more. At least this is what I will be doing.
And speaking of The Cell, I was re-watching it on tv last weekend, and while I agree on the story and acting, the visuals in the film were awesome. The crazy world inside the head of the killer had amazing visual design and concepts. Probably the only thing that it worth watching for. When Vince Vaghn character gets his intestines pulled up and rolled up on the spike rottisery, its more friggin gore than all RE2 Appocalypse combined
