Tork appears to be back on track, now, courtesy of Ubisoft, who bought the developer, Tiwak, some months ago. This game looks thoroughly awesome, and it's developed by a team made mostly of people who worked on my favorite 3D platformer, Rayman 2. I can't wait. Thank you Ubi, for cleaning up MS's mistake.
Now, I can only hope that Ubi's intrest takes this game multiplatform like so many things they publish.

Between Rayman 2, BG&E and POP, I have near endless faith that Ubisoft will get a team on this that will really make it shine.
I'm now excited about this title.
Well Ubi's not developing it... but Tiwak is made of former Ubi employees so whatever (from their montpelier studio, I beleive. The one that did Rayman 2).Quote:

But it's not Ubi's project. Tiwak were developing it for 4 years before Ubi decided to publish it. It's basically done now, I don't see how this would mean there'd be a staff change. I'm sure the exact same people will be making it that were making it when MS was publishing.Quote:

What you are saying is a kin to "wow, Sega is publishing The Matrix Online. Since they made Sonic in 1990, they must really have put great people in charge of fixing up The Matrix!"

Man, so many people give Sega credit for publishing great games (in the past, sometimes they still do). How many people here say shit-for-anything about From Software when talking about Otogi 1 or 2? Ubisoft technically hasn't made anything, their studios have (just like with Sega, and also like Sega, they publish games from studios that are not theirs). Ubi gets the thumbs up from me because they're a publisher of some top quality games (and sometimes games with promise that just don't deliver, like Shadowbane... no one else would pick that game up save for them).
Seeing Ubisoft on the cover is alot like the inverse of seeing the old "Acclaim" or "3DO" on the cover. It'll probably be good, and there will probably be a sequel (not unlike EA, and it's not often a bad thing for a game to be published by EA despite what 'gamers' think).
