Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Announced
Another PC port? Err, we mean - more action and adventure on the way!!
After its successful run on the PC, Black Isle Studios has announced plans to bring a console version based on the <i>Baldur's Gate</i> series - <b>Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance</b>.
"We recognize the tremendous demand for a game like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance on Xbox and don't want Xbox gamers to miss out on this thrilling gaming experience," stated Feargus Urquhart, President of Black Isle Studios.
<b>Story</b>
Darkness has fallen upon the town and rumors of a Thieves' Guild civil war brew beneath the streets of the city. Entering this desperate situation, the player finds himself fresh to the city of Baldur's Gate and new to the world of adventuring. He soon learns that he stands in the way of one of the greatest threats ever to strike the town of Baldur's Gate and the entire region of The Sword Coast.
<b>Features</b>
Faithful adaptation of the new Dungeons & Dragons rules set, customizable player characters and character development allow for an engrossing gameplay experience new to Xbox gamers. Dramatic spell effects and powerful abilities add to the flavor of this action-packed game and assist the player in combat against many terrifying monsters found in the adventure.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a PS2 action/RPG, and was never a PC game. You're probably thinking of Baldur's Gate 1 and Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, which never got ported to any console, and never will.

I guess you're referring to the existing version of Dark Alliance, because the game is in fact coming to Xbox. I've never kept up much with this series... :p
