The real question isn't if Kerry pwned Bush, but if any of you agree or like what he has to say. Is this a man you want running things?

Him owning Bush means little. Bush owns Bush on a daily basis.

John Kerry voted to give the president the authority to go to war to use a a gun to brandish at Saddam. He felt that if Saddam saw that half the Congress didn't agree with authorizing war, Saddam would feel safe. He didn't think Bush would run off shooting the gun in the air like crazy. Btw, glad to see you're gobbling the RNC's bait on the whole flip-flopper thing. Never mind that Bush was against nation building, then for it. Against the 9/11 commission, then for it. Against testifying to the commission, then for it. Against Condoleza Rice testifying, then for it. Against the 9/11 commissions recommendations, then for them.

They've both changed their positions based on feedback from their croneys and polls.

And Kerry's been more consistent than you think. There are all sorts of hidden "Stipulations" to his flip-flopping. Example - Votes for a bill. Bill changes. Votes against new bill, because new one ain't any good. Bill retains same name. Flip-flopping. It's shit like this the Bush administration has been levelling at Kerry for months. Disgusting.

Btw, if you are not checking out Factcheck.org on a semi-daily basis, you're doing yourself a disservice. Both candidates are twisting the facts and the words of the others. FCO is a true no-spin zone. Read through the current articles and the archives. Extremely informative.

Huh? So Kerry's about false fronting and not getting things done. We've been on the Iraqi border brandishing guns for a while. If he didnt believe in going over there he shouldnt have approved it. I dont want somebody in office who acts more like a follower than a leader. To me Kerry acts like a follower.

Allow me to flip-flop: I agree and disagree. I understand what he was trying to do. But it was stupid. Saddam isn't straight in the head, and thinking he'd respond like a normal leader in the face of threats from Bush was foolish.

Same as it's been since Reagan left office. Sucks, donit? Most important thing to me is making sure one party doesn't control every branch of government again. If Kerry is president, I want a split Senate and Republican Congress. If Bush is president again, I want a Democratic Senate and Congress (yeah, I know the likely hood of either working out that way is very slim). Worked for Clinton, and I think it would work again. When you can't get anything done because you don't control the whole government, you tend to use something I heard of once...what was it called? Oh yeah, "cooperation". You use it to get things done.
