The Elder Scrolls games are all insanely boring crap. There's nothing wrong with not enjoying it.

I believe bbobb's news. Morrowind bored the hell out of me something fierce.
I don't know how I managed to put so many hundred hours into Morrowind, especially since I have such a short attention span.
The sad thing is, I never even finished the main storyline.
In as little as 4 hours you can have orcish arnour, a great deal of money, and great weaponry, all without doing a single quest.
if you think its slow paced you just must suck at it.
The only thing the King's Field series shares with Morrowind is the first-person perspective. King's Field is much more of an action RPG. You actually have to strafe around, dodge and time your attacks to interrupt whatever you're fighting. You aren't at the mercy of skill checks like you are in Morrowind. King's Field isn't quite as non-linear either, although you can take different paths to each goal and go back to places you've already been. I've always found the King's Field series much more compelling than the Elder Scrolls series, but I'm more of an action junkie than an RPG fan.Quote:

Point taken.
I wish KF2 would have incorporated better story elements into it ... then I might have bothered to finish the game.
I think I lumped them together, because they are First-Person, Fantasy/RPG, large play area with alot of frustration because of the game mechanics. But thier frustrating elements are for different reasons.
It might be that there are hardly any FP-type games that has done melee combat correctly. I'm not a big First-Person type player ... so the above statement isn't in bold type.
