This is old ass news. They said they were going to release it for the PS2 just like they did with Viewtuful Joe. Nintendo knew it wasgoing down and its not a shock to anyone.

I think Nintendo plan to take classic franchises and put them on the GC is a good move. Microsoft took MGS2:S and no one complained. MGS:TT sold very well and I won't be suprised to Konami make a nother game for them.

And I'm totally lost as to how that second statement relates to this "old ass" news; first in that Nintendo's "plan" to rerelease classic franchises is pretty much the only thing they seem to know how to do in this generation, and second in that I don't how Konami's business pertains to this discussion at all.

Good job Andrew, unfortunately Biohazard 4 still sucks since you can't do any of that and walk at the same time ;)

I own both systems, so I don't really care either way, but porting the entire series to the Cube in the first place was stupid as fuck. Should've just done the RE remake and immediately moved to RE4, or just made something new for the Cube, instead of dragging the series through the mud.

Damn, this game sounds hot.

The RE series has declined and I don't think it is Nintendo fault. They marketed well, lowered the GC price and let Capcom do anything they want. I don't think RE:0 or any other Capcom game would have sold well on the PS2. Veiwtuful hasn't even cracked the top 10 on the gamespot video game sales list
