If anything, this has certainly jaded me about politics. I look back now and I feel pretty foolish for having bought in to all the hype the Dems and their surrogates pumped me up with. This wasn't a close election, Bush won the largest popular vote since Reagan, and the Reps still control the Congress. Apparently, America knows which direction it wants to go in, and despite my being completely opposed to it, the people have spoken and theres nothing we can do but accept it and try and make the most of it.
