You should ask some of those girls, "Hey what's your Bush's stance on global warming?"
Ahh, Yoshi, you're crazy. Clinton had a lot of problems, but he was in no way "wildly liberal". He ran a fairly moderate government with a limited number of liberal excesses that were kept in check by a Republican congress.Quote:

Welfare reform?
He talked a good game, but it didn't happen, much like national health care. At least welfare reform would have been positive, unlike national health care.Quote:

The Amendments adding "between a man and a woman" in marriage defintions to state constitutions are being passed by huge margins. A bit of my faith in America has been restored.

I respect you for voting Kerry, I gave my last minute thoughts in the election booth and voted straight Republican but the thing about more special forces is not the answer, I think Donald Rumsfields "specialist warfare" ideals are royally going to fuck us in the future if they are not fixed. We are fighting a lot of unconventional wars but our mostly specialized conventional units (US Marines, Army Rangers, etc.) are doing a fine job of fighting, I will not bring up the points about how we are kicking terrorisms ass but I would definately say that our troops are fighting well and doing a good job. The US NEEDS to remain a conventional power and Rumsfield and those that share his ideals are shifting our military in the wrong direction.
To sum up the purpose of the thread I voted for the first time today with no line whatsoever, was attacked by political activists before I walked into the polling place and voted for Dubbya, Arlen Spector and the rest of the Republicans on the board.
Defense of marriage? How about "don't ask don't tell"?Quote:
