anyone remember the password feature on "Mystical Ninja" SNES? :bang: what was Konami thinking? i remember getting the password wrong because one of the letters was supposed to be in lower case and i entered it in upper case! :cry:

Bah! If KoA still cared about localizing Goemon games at this point, they would've already released that New Age Sailing game they made for the GBA back in 2002.

ugh.. horrible password system!! In fact, I never even used it. I just played all the way through and never bothered with those useless passwords. Those passwords rank up there with Faxanadu (NES) as some of the worst passwords ever (Faxanadu uses an awful font).

I loved the first Mystical Ninja (one of my fave SNES games) and thought they went totally downhill each sequel. I did love Goemon's Great Adventure on the N64 and think thats the second best Goemon game.

i remember buying a Goemon PS1 game during my visit to Japana back in '97. How was it? i really can't remember anything about that game for some strange reason.

edit: yep Mystical Ninja SNES was the best.

I picked this game up for cheap the other day. Most of the games are intact, but the sound is horrible. Music sounds like Genesis quality, and the sound effects, mainly picking up coins, is crap. I'm not sure what went wrong here, maybe too much power dedicated to the graphics. There's also a menu option where you can play minigames, and you can save in Goemon 1 instead of using passwords. FYI in case anyone still cared about this game.

THe only thing that keeps me from playing Mystical Ninja more often is that stupid, stupid password feature. If this comes out over here it will indeed be great news.
