The words are similar enough to be linked in a thesaurus, but they are distinctive enough that you can discriminate between them. Simply. Ethics are based on rationality and are generally authoritative, morals are based on empiricism and are individual. If you can't see the difference, never become a doctor.

Hehehe, this is obviously flying over your head. Cultural relativism is the belief that there is no absolute truth or morality and everything is only true and moral with that societal framework. So in my worldview, I believe that the views of conservatives are as valid as liberals, that the views of christians are as valid as athiests, and that society is formed and progressess through the collision and the debate of these sides. Which is to say, liberals help conservatives not be uncaring arseholes, and conservatives help liberals stop being such impractical pussies.

But upon saying that, I'm willing to "play the role" of what my personal beliefs are, even though deep down I know they are as invalid/valid as the other side.

Well, AstroBlue is right in one thing - you can't use the word "fundamentalist" to characterize someone aptly described as a cultural relativist. They are incompatible.
