Half-Life 2, no contest. I have an Xbox but mooching off someone else's PC next week to play HL2 is more important than Halo 2 to me. Halo 2 seems to be an improvement to an already excellent game while Half-Life 2 seems nothing short of genre redefining and potentially the best game ever.

Um.. Half-Life 2? I think it is hard to say that considering no one here has even played it yet, but Halo 2 is... well... more Halo. Not the worst thing in the world, but hardly mind blowing.
That and the mod scene for well-accepted PC games (which HL2 is almost certainly to be) is always a plus.
