I'd also say there's a world of difference between the 'slumps' of 1984 and 1995 ('95 was primairly due to western publishers mismanaging their product lines, not consumers losing confidence in the medium and dropping their hobby all together). I'd also say you don't really grasp the disparity between a market 'slump' and a market 'crash'.
