Do you know how to solder and do you have the equipment?
If you do, it's a rather simple process of desoldering the existing chip and resoldering the new chip in.
However, I tried removing the old chip with an el-cheapo radio shack desoldering pump, and the solder points were too small for my cheap pump. I ruined the Neo.
If you are better with a soldering iron than me, go for it. If what I just said doesn't make any sense, don't try it yourself. If you know how to do it but don't have the tools, it's probably not worth paying the cash for all the tools you need if you are only going to do it once, and there are plenty of people who will mod it for you.
well i know its more money and all but if yo u have jeff kurtz do it hell do the chip and S-video mod for 125 i beleive not sure on the price youll have to ask him
