Didn't you find the endless fights against the same types of enemies over & over got tedious after a while?

I finished the whole damn thing and I'm not sure I have the mental fortitude to go through something like that again. I'll probably just wimp out and try a polar expedition or something.

What is your problem? I don't care if DQ outsells Halo 2and neither does Microsoft. The thread was about whether or not DQ could outsell Halo and gave my veiw on what the outcome MIGHT be.

You kind of shot yourself in the foot with your first few weeks posting here, remnant. A bad impression is hard to shake off. Good luck.

Not really, because:
a) While I did the pure job-up battling I was using a one-handed controller and sitting on message boards & IRC. 2 ways of wasting time > 1 way of wasting time.
b) As I went on I was constantly developing better skills to kill everything faster. I don't find the battles too tedious if I can clear them in under 10 seconds.
