I disagree. Halo 2 was executed to perfection. Think about it, what is Halo? It's nothing but a shooter. Halo is an exercise in mindless shooting in tactical situations, wrapped in an incredibly deep plot. It is nothing more, nothing less. In that, in delivered perfectly. Not that it was hard to do, but Bungie completely stomped the original Halo and created one of, if not the best multiplayer FPS ever.Quote:

And in terms of completeness, the ending of Halo 2 while abrupt, is a perfect stopping point. If the game continued, they would have had to wrap up the huge Earth arc in just a few levels, then people would have complained that it was rushed. Half-Life 2 ends on yet another mystery which sure as Hell doesn't help considering that HL has always been vague on the plot anyways. Halo ends on a new begining and you know where it's going considering all the situations that are setup at the end. Unfortuntely, nobody bothered to pay attetion throughout the game so we get a whole shitload of people whining about how the ending sucks.
