Well, since the other two Carnivale threads were locked by an overzealous mod, I suppose I'll start a new one.
Season two starts in a month, and there is a teaser trailer here
I cant wait, I fucking love this show.
A couple things of note, no huge spoilers:
They're really not showing too much to let you know who lived and died at the end of last season, the trailer features a lot of Sophie, so it's unlikely that she's gone. The behind the scenes trailer shows Jonesy at length, he lives.
Then again, Dora Mae and Lodz are also in the trailer, where they are most certainly dead.
It looks like there's going to be some more tree guy and Scudder in season two, yay.
At the very end of the trailer you see a nuclear explosion with Ben in the desert, if anyone picks up the DVD or remembers Samsons monologue at the beginning of episode one he states something about God taking miracle away from man when "a false sun exploded over Trinity". Trinity, New Mexico is where the U.S. tested the first atomic bombs, so it's good to see that they're actually paying attention to old news instead of putting it on the back burner like so many other HBO shows, :cough: Sopranos
