The gameplay in MGS2 was far better then in the first, but like alot of people, the first one had a huge impact on me, so it gets the better hand. All of Kojima's work is masterpiece quality.Quote:

I'll buy it. I rented it a while ago and had fun with it but never got a chance to replay/flesh it out. It was good. Worth some amount.Quote:

Just finished it, clocked in at about 7 hours, but there's ton's of replays in going back through the game, and the EX Missions.
Overall, an awesome gameplaying experience, and the music is excellent, not to mention the story.
One of my favorite games this generation, but I've yet to play MGS 3.
Kojima still hasn't failed me.
This wasn't a weakness to exploit, this was "kill the boss in this certain way, and you can do it no other way". That's not a weakness, that's a constriction.Quote:

You're not forced into using one particular trick.
Flinty Stone was the only real aggravating boss in VJ2...and he's not even that bad in your second game since you have zoom.Quote:

Frost Tiger was the easiest boss in the game.Quote:

Avoid the punches, hit him with RHOH a few times, and as soon as he puts the aura back on, nail him with another kick.
Didn't hit me once.
More ZOE2 speak! Joe has his own damned thread!
Wanna sell it to me =D ?Quote:

And in terms of gameplay, MGS2 is easily the superior of MGS1.
Twin Snakes, ewwwww. Okay, eww is extreme, but it's in no way superior to MGS2 (or even MGS1). All the new play mechanics were implemented without anything else in the game being changed, meaning you've got all kinds of cool abilities and skills that are never required--when you do use them, they break the game. The one thing I did really like about Twin Snakes, however, was the addition of dog tags. That made it worth going through the game once or twice.Quote:
