I'd love to hear more stories about the editors themselves, their personalities and quirks, what their offices were like, etc.

I'll second FuryFox/Otherdane's art capabilities. This thread shows a bit of what he can do. Mzo's partial cause that's where his Av comes from. :)

I also have to pimp out Furyfox's art skillz. The guy's fucking good. Real good.

Almost as good as ME. ;)

Oops, sorry about that - didn't mean to leave all that stress with you. But yeah, you're right, having only one or two people run a "major" site is a tad insane. It was fun at first (scanning Famitsu and ripping on Next Generation Online's mistakes), but when Berg started demanding updates before 6 and I was put into a role with helping Rau, I sorta lost it. I know I drove you a little crazy at times, and I don't really remember if you hated me or not - if you did, I apologize. Heh, I blame the madness that was working at GF. :D

Holy crap there is a lot of ex-GF guys here!! This is seriously awesome for us GF devotees, which there are tons of. And the idea of resurrecting a GOOD gaming mag in the vain of GF's beautiful, witty, drug-induced greatness!! It's just got to happen.

Woah, That would be the greatest thing ever if this thread was part of the catalyst that brought about a new Gamefan magazine.
I wish you luck in starting the next gen of Gamefan if thats what you're going for.Hopefully some of the guys here at TNL will step up to the plate. I know we have some good reviewers, people who swing by occasionally who know their "tech",and some pretty good artists floating around these boards from time to time.
