Speaking of pompous windbags who talk more shit than they can back up, someone should tell Lorne Lanning to STFU about the industry. He's made A (very) good game, slapped out an expansion for it, then crapped out a mediocre next-gen sequel after months and months of bitching.

By the way, djpubba, just wanted to thank Double Jump for that awesome MegaTen guide. Never before have I been able to have something so useful and cool-looking double as a potential brother-bludgeoner. Awesome guide. BIG improvement from the Disgaea one (which you may remember me complaining about on these very boards. :p).
It's been on the back burner since middle of last year, but this thread definitely put me in the state of mind to go back to making it really happen. With all the GameFan folks popping out of the woodwork offering to help make it happen, how could I resist?Quote:

Thanks a lot. I pretty much did the Disgaea guide all alone so it did have issues. But it was still popular enough to get the DoubleJump name out there and give us the resources to do the kind of job I really wanted to do with Phantom Brave and SMT: Nocturne. I intend to maintain that level of quality with Hardcore Gamer or whatever we end up naming it.Quote:
