EDIT: is this a Sega product or 3rd party? it says Sega on the pad, but not on the box.

It's a Sega product, but I've heard it's unresponsive crap nonetheless. There's a USB Virtua Stick coming soon, too. Hope that's a bit better.

The NGCD pad is for PS2, and I think it's going to be packaged with KOF94 Re-Bout. Not sure if it's out yet. There's an old-style NG stick coming for PS2, too.

yeah there was an earlier thread on this, and all the people who purchased this, including myself, agreed it really isn't that great of a product. in summary, the d-pad sucks :(

Why can't anyone make a decent PC controller? All the dpads I see are super smooth and annoying as hell, and when something promising finally comes along it's dpad supposedly sucks too. While we're at it, $40-$50US is way too much for what you're getting, seriously you can get controllers with force feedback and analog sticks for $20.

Does anyone have a favourite Saturn-to-USB adapter? All the adapters I've seen around here are for PS2 and XB controllers.

my adapter takes PS/Saturn and DC. i don't have the name of it right now since i'm at work, but when i go back home i'll get you the brand and the site where i bought it from

This is a very good question. I've tried alot of PC pads and all of them just have something or another fundamentally wrong with their design (at least of the ones with similar features to current-gen systems). It's really absurd.

Just pick up a PS2 to USB adapter at radio shack and hook it up to your favorite PS2 controller. It's really the best solution. There are adapters for older controllers too, but I find their usefulness limited to emulating Neo Geo games and such since you want an analog and plenty of buttons for most PC games.
