Amusing site where people bitch and bitch about their asshole customers. If it's been posted before, or if it's "old", eat me. Search didn't turn up anything.

Good site. Reminds me of that "Acts of Gord" site awhile back.
I run a company that does a good deal of business online, and I could tell stories that would make grown men cry. For instance, some people think that if they get a username/password for one web site, it works for the ENTIRE INTERNET. I get emails from people who wonder why their Amazon.com, AOL, Yahoo, etc. passwords won't work on my site.
Awesome site. Thanks for the find. I just read the Vinegar Boy article, and man was that amazing. Truth will always be stranger than fiction.Quote:

It's fun to read about and kind of fun to bitch about, but dealing with idiot customers is not something you want to experience. Stay away if you can.Quote:

Should I post this?

Great site I don't work retail anymore, but still deal with costumer service. The sh!t you'll witness is truely either very funny or very sad.
We had a REALLY weird guy in the store early this morning.
He pulls in full speed in a beat-up toyota with a roof sign from a local shitty pizza place, comes in carrying a box of scented candles, and procedes to act in the weirdest coked out way I have ever seen up close.
He kept saying he wanted a "business phone" and I kept trying to tell him he didnt need to spend a fortune to attain it.
He then whipped out his walet and started flinging credit cards on the counter telling me how much each card's limit was.
He ended up leaving, coming back in a hour or so, looking like he crashed and nearly falling asleep at the counter.
Ah well...he passed the credit check..
its not worth it, i'm going on 4 years straight and the only reason i've managed to not abruptly quit (aside from other complicated reasons) is that i pretty much just have an outer shell of steel - no bad customer or angry person can penetrate me anymore. If i ever encounter such a person, i just page a manager and walk away, they get paid to deal with the asskissing shit and I don't. Also I've noticed this... most regular people don't want to get up in the face of a wierd metal looking guy like myself, its a small comfort because I'm actually a pretty nice guy to everyone and wouldn't want to throw out acts of violence but I guess most people don't chance it.Quote:
