The pics that I linked seem to have magically changed to the second type of controller.
What a damned shame, I guess that pretty much settles it then.

Constant rushdown tactics aren't ideally wise -- it's the equivalent of them just running into your fist. Then you'd be all like "haw, haw -- you suck."Quote:

Hmm, I thought of a worse scenario. What if Hyper is an akuma-fest and 3s is taken over by Gill players? Is there some way you can restrict that sort of thing when you're picking match-types?Quote:

I really look forward to playing this. And damn some of you bastards on my friends list that have this already.....bahn.... I seen you on.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't offer a host the ability to restrict both of these boss characters from use. Akuma is far from "broken" (read: considered an unfair advantage) when used by human players -- unless you're talking at high level play in which tournaments have restricted his usage.Quote:

Show a little confidence in your natural abilities -- soemone selecting them doesn't immediately guarantee victory.
Mog: I've hopped back on CVS2 a week or so ago and I still find SFAE to be more enjoyable. Not to mention the game is basically lost much of its online playerbase. I'll be waiting to challenge you whenever you pick up a copy!
Jeremy: Heh, I am not interested in stomping on you. After Crimson Skies -- I decided on waiting until you become more competitive. But I think there's an online copy of Bejeweled or something we could play.
Hehe, that was a fun game of CS, maybe it would have been better if I played you after having it longer than a few days. Heck, maybe I'll beat you in this (not bloody likely though.)
This is true. I've seen people who pick Tengu in DOA Ultimate get massively stomped into the ground with virtually no effort. Just because some picks a boss character doesn't mean they are any good.Quote:

I need to brush up on my shoto-destroyer skills if i'm gonna play this thing online. Because I know everybody and their mother is gonna pick fucking Ken or Ryu.
This is so true in GGX2# Reload online, and it's great fun to stomp them into the ground with Potemkin. Also, I'll be one of the mofos using Ryu and Ken, until my Zangief skills get back up to where they need to be.Quote:
