Nice work. How come the comm doesn't work anymore? Is there no way around that in future mods?

The ArcadeStickMonk tutorial suggested to disconnect all PCB plugs to make it easier to do the mod. I must have partially damaged the Communicator PCB plug when I tried to remove it (even though I was really gentle), and it will only work if I push on the plug at a certain angle. Rather than try to fix the problem with soldering (according to ArcadeStickMonk) and risk further damage, I decided to sell the damn thing on eBay.

When I did the mod the second time, I didn't even touch the PCB plugs. My second SFAC stick works, communicator and all.

Got to play some matches with DYLE on Friday before the connection cut off. We were both shaking off our Third Strike rust, but had some good battles going before the connection crapped out.

Mods, can you move this thread to the online forum?

By the way, today is the last day to bid on my SFAC joystick.

Could someone please tell me where the hell the Animated Movie is on this game? Is it actually on the disc? I've tried it in a DVD player and there's no movie there. Do you have to unlock XBox DVD playback to play it?

I should've bought this months ago. Has the price on the arcade stick gone down yet?

I was wondering about sticks too. What sticks have people bought and can they be bought anywhere but online? I mean, were they officially released outside Japan? I haven't really needed arcade sticks until now.

On eBay maybe, due to lack of demand. The only reason people bought the SFA stick was for the aesthetic, there are better sticks out there, and most people prefer just to customize it. People only buy the Anniversary stick now for two reasons, 1.) The Udon poster and 2.) to gut the stick and use its shell for a custom one.

And 3) It's the only good Xbox arcade stick that is compatible with the Communicator, a necessity for trash talking.
