I remember reading from an EGM Bungie interview that it would be very difficult for Bungie to fix the glitches because changing the geometry parameters that make up the Halo stages may have unintended consequences with the rest of the game. That's probably why they haven't stated publically that they'll fix it. They're not sure if they can fix without breaking the game.Quote:

That's what's so hilarious about all of this. I read the same interview, and it's like they outright admit that they have the shittiest, worst optimized, least scalable engine ever created, and then say "well, we couldn't code an engine that can do anything after it is now in your homes, so, you know, lol.
