I think I've seen this labled as PSO 2, but I just hope the whole game evolves into a real MMORPG that's closer to the originals.

If it goes to Xbox, and it doesn't play like the first one, it might be good.
It kinda seems like they're just doing a promo for the next RPG and MORPG, or that they're mixed together.
I don't care anymore, and I won't start til I can purchase it, and it's good.
I'm one of those insane people that loves PSO.
If they took Phantom Dust's control and combat (minus the whole arsenal thing), it'd make a nice, fast (but not too fast for an action RPG) setup for a PSO game.
I actually hope it's not online this time. PS2 and4 are probably my favorite rpgs of all time. And Skies of Arcadia was the best rpg this generation in my opinion- some of the old PS team worked on it.
Either way, I'm down for it.
I got WOW for an online kick, gimme a sequel to the classics..
after the abberation of the third pso, i am cautious, i see a card( thats not a force specific weapon) and im boycotting this entirely. If its really pso 2, as the movie thing kind of teases at, then i will be ecstatic, but till i see something more concrete, i stand unconvinced.
PSO is one of my 3 favorite games ever, and PSO v.3 crushed my hopes and dreams, so let's hope they do this shit right this time.
I loved PSO III. I wonder if all the haters would be as zealous in their rage if it weren't for the stigma associated with card games. It's proven to be one of the only two (three if you count Baten Kaitos) that I've liked. I actually enjoy it more than Eps.I & II.
Still, the problem with all the PSO's is that they aren't the real deal.
Anyone remember those rumors from the past of Phantasy Earth? :sonic:
One of the biggest complaints I've heard about PSO III, is that of how well you do in the game, is decided by the luck of the draw.Quote:
